about
I believe that everyone has the right to self-determination, and I dedicated my career to that cause.
I spent the first 15 years of my career scaling programs across the nonprofit, consulting, and government sectors (Commission on Economic Opportunity, The Bridgespan Group, and Texas Education Agency), to address the persistent injustices that contribute to poverty including food insecurity, poor government leadership, and lack of access to high-quality education.
As someone who has burned the candle at both ends, I’ve learned firsthand that an effective leader cannot pour from an empty cup. A couple of years ago I failed an annual physical. That served as my wake-up call. That experience, among others, led me to speak on and develop curricula for wellness.
